Tagebuch
As soon as we arrived at home we had a rest after an exhausting trip. Why was it so exhausting? I think we should bring back the events, which took place last night.
On the
28th of July two of our friends, Alexander
and Bojana, had their birthdays. On such an important day nearly whole
group wanted to celebrate, so we didn’t go to bed early. But there
was a schedule for the day which meant we had to wake up at 8.30 and
went for a breakfast at 9 p.m.
After
a morning breakfast, we were transported to the center of Lübeck.
This was done in 3 tours with a bus. When we were all together, we
met our guide and started visiting the Dom Church. It lasted about
two hours and we got introduced to many different and interesting
things. For example the way the church was built, the history of the
church, something about architect style, the situation of the destruction in 1942, we walked the cieling an saw lots of signs and symbols which sende to you when you get them very well explained - like we did. Then we said goodbye and thank you very much to
the precoious guide and as quick as possible and went to the next meeting
point.
Rolf showed us this meeting point and then we spread out in
different directions.
At 12
o clock we get all together and started the
second part of sight-seeing. With Dr. Bayer. we were shown some main
parts of the centre of Lubeck which were worth seeing. He also told as
many interesting things about the history of town, legends and
interesting tales. Our second part of the tour ended near the market
place. Then we said goodbye to our second guide.
Our
third guide, Rolf, took us to a fascinating place. He took us to the
….. shop. But he had explained that this certain shop belongs to
the faire trade league, which links the workplaces that treat workers
well in poor countries. After quick shopping, we had a quick meeting.
We decide that we all needed to go to bus stop and divide into two
groups. Those who wanted to came back went with Rolf. The others had
an hour to go on shopping. When the one hour was over, we all met at
the bus stop. All except Marko and Aleksander. We missed one bus but
after ten minutes another arrived.
Now
after the eight-hour trip we could do whatever we wanted. Kitchen
volunteers prepared some delicious food and the others played table
tennis. But some hungry rainbow participants waited a tasty dinner.
