Neue Teilnehmer, harte Arbeit und tolle Diskussion

We woke up at 7:00, the kitchen group made a delicious breakfast. We ate our breakfast then divided ourselves to three groups again: kitchen group, working group and the diary.

The tractor destroyed the huge stones for making the rainbow place suitable.

The working group worked in agriculture, they have cleaned the ground from weeds and mixed the soil with compost. They worked hard.

While the groups were doing their tasks two members joined the camp, they are Bar and Hillel.

After having a lunch and eating a lot of food, and definitely after working hard we have to get some fun. So we decided that the best thing to do is swimming, the pool party just began immediately.

While swimming and playing an African game Rolf came with the bad news that we have to start working. And that's what we did, we went to the rainbow place and started digging holes for the rainbow.

After dinner began our group activity for the evening. We had a discussion about the meaning of the rainbow project. There were a three perspectives

1-The different colors of the rainbow represents the different people.

2- The rainbow is a sign of peace.

3- The rainbow comes after the rain, so it’s the hope.

Another topic that we discussed is focusing in children and that's because they are the hope for a better future, and they are a fresh start so we don't want them to follow the mistakes of their parents.

The third topic is the impact of the project, we had agreed that is what we will make of it because it starts with us. "Be the change you want to see on the world" -Ghandi . And also Besan and Saja told us about their experience about changing someone's perspective.

Besan said that she has an extreme palestinian friend, that doesn't like jews because they kill palestinian innocent people in Gaza strip. So she tried to convince Besan not to participate in this project , but at the end of the second day Besan called her and told her about jews and how is their attitude toward others and specifically arabs. As conclusion Besan changed her friends perspective toward jews.

Saja's cousins also tried to convince her not to participate because it's in time of war, but she succeeded changing their perspective that it is safe here and Jews are not our enemies.
